Loading and resulting actions

IATF CARA supports different types of loading. These types are necessary because the selected options decides about the action which is going to happen. This action is defined by the user and not the data provided.

All reports in IATF CARA are identified by uuid (Universally Unique Identifier). This identifier is mentioned in all report list and can be also checked for the active report using the Information button in the top left corner (circled I).

A report in IATF CARA is always saved together with the NC Management data.

Extend an exiting lead audit report with co auditors data

  1. audit report not found

    1. abort because merge can be not executed without lead audit report

  2. audit report found

    1. audit report file was not created by co auditor

      1. it is checked based on the Auditor ID no. (ADP no) if the audit report file was saved by an auditor who is part of the audit team

    2. audit report was created by auditor of audit team

      1. apply merge business logic explained here https://infosysc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CARA/pages/7634948.

This function applies a specific defined logic on extending the audit data from the lead with co auditor data. Understanding this is crucial to avoid any surprises. It will update data in the audit report and the NC Management.

Extend an exiting report with data from the loaded report

  1. audit report not found

    1. abort because merge can be not executed without lead audit report

  2. audit report found

    1. extend all list sections (ofi, processes, all sites, ncs) with new entries from the audit report loaded

This function will only add new data to the exiting report like new sites or NCs nothing else. Contrary to the merge function which has specific business logic defined and will also update data fiels this is not the case for this.
