IATF NC CARA Layout and start page

CARAs layout and menu is designed similar to other applications for an easier orientation. The header of CARA shows the IATF logo the CARA name and the application part the user is in. The left side contains the menu and the rest of the screen is reserved for the information of the site the user is in. On the the start page at the top new messages will be displayed.

  1. Overview gives the user access to the start page and the setting menu

  2. Nonconformity management gives you access to your active nc management report “Nc & actions” and to the list of older nc managmenet reports

  3. Information contains all necessary helpful links like access to the wiki and service desk

Start page

The start page splits into two main section. The nonconfomity management section and the data management section. You get quick access to all relevant function you need to complete your company's NCs.

The nonconformity management gives you access to the nc management report list. Depending on the amount of audits you had with NCs this list will contain your new and old nc management reports.

The right part contains functions like direct access to your active nc managmenet report which you can also access using the menu. You can also directly print the active nc management report without requiring to enter it. The last function is the export as json file of the full report which you can send back to the auditor or to save the last version in your company's data storage.

Because CARA saves all changes to the report automatically and is designed as browser application the last report you worked on is kept as active report for direct access.

Data management

The load report/backup function gives you quick access to load received nc management reports from your auditor or to load your last versions of nc management report. This function will also connect single NCs back to the main report if you have worked on them separately.

The last functionality of the load button is to import backups back to IATF NC CARA. A backup contains all data you have in your NC CARA like settings and all different nc management reports.

Next to the load button you find the save all reports button which will create your backup and save it directly on your device. The location where it is saved depends on the default settings of your browser. You might be asked where to save otherwise it will be saved directly in downloads.

The load button will load all IATF NC CARA backups. All nc management reports and also separated NCs, which will be also automatically joined if you have more than one NC which belongs to the same nc mangement report
