FAQ: Where is the offline version?

The old VDA6.3 Analysis Tools had a separate offline version due technological limitations of browser in that time. New browsers like Firefox, Edge, Chrome and Opera support a technology called progressive web app.

A progressive web app will be saved in the browser cache and can be started without a internet connection as long the browser cache is not deleted. You can see if the application is locally available next to the version on the start page

In browsers like Chrome or Edge you can also add an icon to your desktop using the plus symbol in the url address bar. This functionality is also linked the browser cache of the browser you are using. If you have accidentally deleted the browser cache on starting the application again with an internet connection it will be offline available.
